So the 1st stage of my project is done. Believe me, the pictures do no justice!! I started with pallets were hand painted and cut to size. Plywood for support at the bottom and bed risers were used for height. The side table was a $2 find at the thrift shop, as were most of the frames. I used lace on canvas and sprayed paint for the art above the beds as well as painted the words red. Overall, I am happy with the end results. My girls come home this weekend and I want them to feel at home!! Stay tuned for Zinnys room make-over!!! Should be done in the next two weeks or so :-)
