So the Madeline McCan saga rears its head again.... The world is full of vile people who do vile things to kids.... baby P, the young polish boys starved by his mum, the child who was dead for 2 years but the mother kept him mummified..... What makes me sick is that we have two outrageously selfish parents who left their children unattended while they went out and enjoyed themselves have played the pity me card and raised well over £2 million to find their lost child. If that money had been given to social services I estimate 20 social workers could have trained and had their wages paid for the best part of 5 years amd maybe the real victims - baby P et al - may still be alive today. It disgusts me that a middle class family have not been prosecuted for child neglect.
