So the Reedy race is in the books and I have to say I cant imagine it going much worse! I did prepare and I felt ready going into it, and I even felt good in practice, but I had a tough time even having a single clean run. I made some mistakes early, but even if I was on a clean run, I would get tangled up with other cars. It was very frustrating. I had guys stuck in my wing on 3 different occasions that took forever to get untangled. I cant put my finger on one thing that went wrong, it was a collection of things that made it difficult to get good results. I collected 3 points in round 2 which gave me some hope, but I wouldnt get a top 3 finish until 8 rounds later, which was round 4 of the 4 wheel drive category. As bad as it seems, there is a lot of good to get out of it. My pace was good in 2 wheel the entire time (which again made it frustrating that the results werent coming). Also, although my set-up was off in 4 wheel the first few rounds, I made some changes and it was really good. I love the new 4 wheel car and look forward to more practice and racing. I feel very good about the cars at this point and I know the results will come. Now I have 6 weeks to prepare for the Cactus Classic. Ill be ready!
