So the VA sends me a card to use with regular doctors instead of having to wait four months to see a primary physician. Great! Then the letter with it says not to use the card until youve been confirmed as someone that needs to use it. Huh. Well done VA. Couldnt see how youre all messed up at all. Maybe it would be faster to only mail the cards to those that should get it? Honestly, can you do anything in an organized way? Anything in a way that doesnt screw vets, confuse vets, or potentially put them into debt if they use your programs wrong? Which is super easy, as everything has so many every changing and confusing rules that its a part time job trying to keep it straight. Its like the only job the VA wants us to have is to constantly need the VA to explain the VA. An example of how even a good idea meant to help is twisted by government oversight into something confusing and potentially harmful. I guess Ill just keep on my wait list, as the guard failed completely as well.
