So the game ended 1-7. The national football team of Brazil was taken to the cleaners, hauled over hot coals, and left to rot. So what ?? Does life end there? Does CBF wind up their Jogo Bonito !! Brazil comes with a pedigree of football, unparalleled, has thrown up legends, in every decade, a feat which only Germany can emulate. Life rolls, and we shall rise from the Ashes. Yes, it hurts, but again today is another day. Germany has been to 7 finals till the evening yesterday, but did they shut their football out for each of the 4 times they failed to wear the crown. Losing out the final game is far more painful than a semi-final massacre. Did Netherlands stop playing football after repeatedly failing at the final game? To all the Selecao fans out there. Stop cribbing and feeling glum. And for heaven’s sake desist from showing Big Dude Jesus with his face covered. The guy can’t even sort out issues at his place of birth, what the hell would he do there ? Let him be at peace ogling at the G-string clad bronzed bodies across the beaches. He needs his mojo as well. We got another match ahead of us, where we need to start getting our act together. And then starts the focus for Russia. Cribbing would get you nowhere. The Germans tore apart whatever strategies Brazil had, (that is if they ever had one). And Neymar and Thiago playing would have possibly changed the final score line marginally. From 1-7 to may be 2-6. That’s all. Period ! We were out classed, outfoxed by a far superior team. There are no excuses, but a better future to re-construct. Tragedy was lurking from day 1, just surprising that it took such a long time to come up. (May be my being there helped Brazil to cruise along to the Semi Finals :P :P ) Buck up guys. Life starts afresh. Bring on the barbs. Bring out the knives. We know how to deal with it. Our intrinsic love for Brazilian football is far too strong to break.
