So, the new BDN/Ispos poll is now about the fifth or sixth poll to show a virtual deadlock in the gubernatorial race *if Eliot Cutler quit* - this last one had the race at Michaud 48 and LePage 46. Can. We. Please. Shut. Up. About. The. Vote-splitting. Lie. Now? Honestly, how many more polls need to show that the race is a dead heat with, or without Cutler, before the Democrats will stop saying that if LePage is re-elected, it is Cutlers fault. Again, the problem isnt Cutler. It is that Mike Michaud is fundamentally not appealing to voters. If it was Cutler vs. LePage alone, Cutler is up in this Ispos poll *53 to 40*. Mike is up 48 to 46. Wake up, Democrats. The problem is Michaud. If you had a candidate worth anything, this entire conversation would be moot.
