So the other day, Heather was upset because kids at school were making fun of her last name. I told her to get used to it, because the Irish have been persecuted for thousands of years. This led to what does persecuted mean? So I mentioned in passing the imperialist British bastards and how they slaughtered us for sport, pillaged our lands, and still hold 6 counties hostage. God bless her rebel heart, she is now of the thought that we have to kill them back. :)) Then as she was going over some history home work, I had to make a few corrections about what they learned about Obama and what a great president he is, which led to me having to try teaching an 8 yr old about capitalism vs socialism, and freedom vs a totalitarian state. God only knows what she tells her teacher about me lmao.
