So, the other day when I was in the hospital, following a ct scan they sent me to have a pelvic ultrasound to get a view on what they found from a different angle or to see if there was something else they missed. Pelvic ultrasounds for woman are very different than your traditional ultrasound. Lets just say....you leave your dignity at the door. Yes, I was in a lot of pain. And yes, I had just heard the word tumor come from my dr.s mouth, so I was nervous to say the least. If you know me, then you know I deal with a lot of things with humor. So, as Im laying there on the table and the ultrasound tech was getting all her tools and magic wand (I like to call it) ready, with us both knowing what is about to happen. I say, What, youre not gonna even buy me dinner first?. I wait for it.....Nothing. I got nothing...no response, laugh, or slightest acknowledgement at all. So I proceeded to stare at the ceiling. I thought it was funny myself. Or at least thought it might break the ice. Nope.
