So the real question is this, do you want to get paid $15 bucks an hour but have to pay double the current price of everything or do you prefer keeping things the way they are today? The cost of doing business is directly effected by wages and as such almost any monetary gain would be offset by price increases by companies recouping their earnings on the sales end. A massive increase in the minimum wage would only help the mega rich as there buying power is greater and only serves to hurt the unemployed poor as they do not benefit from the wage increase on the front end. DO I even need to mention the amount of high schoolers who will be out of a job because of an increase if it happens?
