So the sun sets on another Connemara 100 weekend, and a chance to meet up with old friends and make new ones. This race is special in so many ways, for those who run, for those who crew and for those of us who work on the race. It is a truly emotional experience that really gives us all time to reflect on what is really important in life and re-examine our goals, and the fact that it takes place in one of the most breathtakingly spectacular places on the planet is a true bonus. Unfortunately I may not be there in 2015 as I have a date with destiny with one of my own athletic goals, but I will be there in 2016......... Oh Yeah, and Pretty Woman is on TV - can it really get much better :)
