So the update is not a good one. Jackson progresses worse and with lots more pain very quickly. He was showing similar signs to disc issues. Took him right in to our vet. He was in pain a lot and cried but vet said he showed still having reflexes and his neck was mobile and did not appear to be causing pain. It was very difficult to isolate where the pain is coming from but it is in the front leg shoulder area. He walks barely and is severely hunched. Pain meds given, lots and X-rays were complete. They X-rays dont show anything which is good but it could be that it is too early. He was given more pain meds and prednisone and sent home with me to monitor. No movement allowed. Follow up at 8 am. We are treating for disc issue, still a chance is could be a severe strain, but less likely. This seems to be a critical turning point. If your pup has suffered from this, feel free to share what happened. I trying to stay optimistic however I have never seen my pups this bad ever. My gut doesnt feel good.
