So, there are many understandable issues with possible city/state/federal laws that would prohibit Businesses from being open on Christmas right? Not everyone celebrates it, of course. So since Thanksgiving is such a wide-spread, universally celebrated Holiday, how about a 24 Hour Thanksgiving law stating that businesses must close at 2pm on Thanksgiving Day and can not open until 2pm the next day, known as black Friday. EVERYONE should be given the chance to have a relaxed, enjoyable turkey dinner without having to wake up at 2am the next morning for senseless black friday shopping. Retail workers suffer enough. Let them enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday at home. What do you think? We need to bring REAL values back to NYC.
