So there was a thread on here yesterday lamenting the point cost of the Behemoth. While the Behemoths point cost is mathematically correct, it has a much harder time surviving than a vehicle, because it is subject to Critical Force (which is easier to come by than Critical Damage). So I was looking at ways to help get it into Close Combat faster. Besides making sure there is lots of terrain on the board, I was looking at the Unstopable Mass special ability. It seems to me that this rule is an exception to the A model can only move a maximum of twice its movement range. It would have to be because the behemoth has a move of 5, and Unstopable Mass is 12. Already that is over twice its base movement range. Unstopable Mass is a Close Combat equivalent action, so it seems like it would be feasable to move 5, (also to line up your charge), and then Unstopable Mass, in the same way you can make a Move and then an Engage. The only difference is that by its nature Unstopable Mass goes 12 no matter what. This would give you a 17 move, which is not bad, and depending on the terrain should hopefully get you where you need to go.
