So theres this homeless dude I know called Theo. Hes taught me more about life then any sole human being on this planet. It all started on a day when he came and asked me for some spare change, I asked him why he had no coin and he said his wife divorced him, took all the money and now hes just trying to get enough for a train ticket to Kalgoorlie. Its been about 3 years since then and I was on the bus waiting for it to leave. Sure enough I see him out the window asking people for money. So I called out to him, gave him some change and asked him if hes got enough to get to Kalgoorlie yet. He looked at me with a smile and said Im leaving tomorrow brother! I gave him a good old fashioned EHHHH!!! out the window as the bus drove off and then tears started to well up in my eyes. I think in some way we all have a Kalgoorlie we are trying to make it to, a dream we wish to achieve. But somewhere along the line people forget how to dream and life gets the better of them. I want to be able to live and not just survive, I never want to loose the ability to dream, I want to take every single day with the attitude that tomorrow I will make it to Kalgoorlie!
