So, these are some smart puppies! Pretty much started some serious potty training on their own. Puppies naturally do not want to soil their living space. In the Puppy Pit, as I call it, there are two sections. One with straw, and one with carpet rugs. At first they just pottied where ever, but would only poo on the straw. In the last couple of weeks, they ALL have started going only in the straw. Its kind of amazing. So, what you all should do..might sound crazy, but it will work. Is either get a cat litter box (a big one, obviously), line it with straw and put it in the puppies area. (Assuming you are limiting their area, as you should at first. Puppies should not have a run of the whole house) Then gradually move it to the door you will be using to take them out. Then, move the box outside. OR...what you would be even quicker, is place some straw down in the yard or place your will take the pup potty and only take him or her potty in the straw. :)
