So these past few weeks, we have seen or read in the news about waiting lists at the VA. The Veterans Administration. We have seen, or read in the news about Crimea, The Ukraine, and Putin, and the theory of him wanting to put to old Soviet Union back together. Excuse me while I adjust my soapbox. I always loved watching “Pinky and The Brain” in the mornings. And the last several years, as I get up with my morning coffee and watch the news, I feel as though I am watching new episodes of “Pinky and The Brain”. Sorry to say, Obama has taken the role of playing Pinky, and Putin, The Brain. Please let me explain. The Brain, in the animated series, is a mouse who wants power. Very smart. Very crafty. He has a huge ego. He wants to take over the world. So comparing him to Putin is not much of a stretch, right? Now Pinky. The lovable, goof. Loyal. But inept. I see Obama that way. Now let me say, that I am NOT a republican. I am NOT a democrat. I am a free thinking independent individual who abhors most politicians. I find many of them to be part of the problems and not the solutions. Let me also say, I was not a fan of George W. At all. But I will say, that when it came to his beliefs, he acted on them, right or wrong, whether or not I agreed with him. If he said he wanted something or was gonna do something, he did it. And he always took action to his beliefs. We know the Bush doctrine, but what is the Obama doctrine exactly? I have grown very tired of my democrat friends defending Obama. There is absolutely nothing to defend him for. Seriously. Since Obama first ran for president, he promised change. Real change. He promised transparency. But that did not happen. And the typical Washington scandals continue. Let’s review. There has been no transparency in The White House. In fact, this has been the most secluded administration in a long time. When Obama took over as President, he did take it over at a time when the nation’s economy was crumbling. And I for one never expected any president at the time to pull off a miracle and fix it overnight realistically. But he hired a guy named Geithner to run the Treasury Department and the IRS. But before Geithner was sworn in, we came to find out, that Geithner had problems with his taxes. But Obama stood beside him. And when he became Treasury secretary he forced some banks to buy other banks, and some to go out of business at the administration’s discretion of how they saw fit. Forcing them and lying to them. And even after that, the big banks are still playing games. I can’t count how many times now they’ve paid fines. Then the government took over General Motors. Money we have yet to see returned, and a huge recall that had been ignored for a long time, but now taking place. A BIG recall. One that should have been handled sooner. Then as the economy was tanking, and we were taking over banks and car companies, Obama pushed the health care agenda. It was something that we could use fixed up, however not a priority at that time when the economy was tanking. So we finally got this s**tty plan in place and made law. If your employer didn’t give you health care, you have to buy it. By law. And to make sure you paid it, the IRS would over see it. And if anyone didn’t buy into the program, the ones who did would have to pay for them. And to my republican friends who call this socialized health care, I say, no it isn’t. If it was, we would be covered through our taxes, and there wouldn’t be insurance companies involved except for extra insurance on a premier health care. It is half assed junk in my opinion. And ridiculous to force people into buying it. Especially a government mandated plan. Then we come to find another stupid administrated idea. The Fast and The Furious. We’ll give guns to drug dealers to track them. What happens? The drug dealers take the guns and shoot our agents with them. What a brilliant plan (insert sarcasm here)! And no accountability held for it. A lot of hearings about it on capitol hill, yet no one fired. Then our embassy in Benghazi gets attacked. But rather than tell the truth, it gets blamed on a shitty video on YouTube that no one has watched or cares about. The guy who made the video got arrested, but the people who lied about the attack, nothing happens. Then the IRS gets caught harassing or denying Tea Party members a tax status for their local organizations, just because of their beliefs. And this goes all the way up to a few SOB democrats on Capitol Hill who called for it. It’s bad enough no one likes the IRS, but now here is the proof to fear it, which many individuals had. There hasn’t been enough action because of this to fire enough people, and overhaul this corrupted system. Then we come back to the sh*tty healthcare plan. And an overpaid, defective website that didn’t work like it should have. And Obama didn’t fire the head of Health and Human Services. He waited until the deadline came and went, then took her resignation. Democrats argue the plan worked and was a success. Really? Roughly over 30 million uninsured in this country, and roughly 3-6 million sign up, and not necessarily purchased, but sign up for info and register, and thats a success for all it’s cost? And we won’t mention the other facts of a lot of people being dropped from Medicare/Medicaid or their current insurance, or their plans being changed, or losing their doctors (Which was a big lie told, that we could keep our doctors. And they KNEW it was a lie all along!), or their rates increased because of this debacle of a plan. Another mess is, Obama repeatedly granting delays to big companies to get on the program, while there were none offered to small companies, or individuals. Interesting how unions are p*ssed off at the way this is going. So now we get the absolutely disgraceful VA scandal. Our fine servicemen and women WAITING to be seen. Some have died across the country, just waiting to be SEEN, so they can get the care they need and RIGHTFULLY deserve. A president that wouldn’t fire anyone including the head of the VA. He talked tough supposedly. But again, it was just more blah, blah, blah. Finally the head of the VA resigned from being under fire, when he wouldn’t originally. Even with all this media coverage the last few months, 57,000 vets are still waiting for care to be seen as of today. After this, can anybody be really excited about ObamaCare? And then there is the middle east. He keeps drawing lines in the sand. Just as he has done on Syria and Iran. But they ignore him for the most part, and then he makes another football analogy, and then he draws another new line. It it just keeps going. But please don’t get me wrong. I am NOT pro war. But there has to be some kind of swift strong action when these dangers in the world happen. We should certainly have learned by now that Obama does not fire anyone. If youre lucky to be hired, you are hired for ever, even if there is a problem or scandal, you have a job for life, unless the heat is so bad that you resign. But hell still talk you up to the press, even if you are a big f***t*rd. And meanwhile, Putin is moving forward, steadily, smug as ever. Just like an awesome villain in a James Bond movie. Never looking back. I’d laugh at this latest episode of Pinky and The Brain, if it didn’t disturb me so much. And scare the s**t out of me...
