...So, theyre coming out with a 4th version of my favorite movie, Jurassic Park. Its called Jurassic World. I doubt that it will be any good, since, you know, Jurassic Park II and Jurassic Park III, but it got me thinking about some of my favorite things (aside from Elisha, who is my very favorite thing). This upcoming week is Thanksgiving week, and my favorite thing about Thanksgiving isnt the food or seeing my family or colonialism or any of that stuff. Yep. Suck it, Rearicks. Im kidding. I love you guys. Anyway, one of my favorite things about Thanksgiving (in fact, one of my favorite things in the whole world) is watching A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, an animated Peanuts holiday special. Ive been watching it since I was a kid, on a VHS copy that Ive long since lost, and I watch it every year, which means Ive probably seen it slightly more times than Jurassic Park and significantly more times than Jurassic Park III. The basic premise is that Charlie Brown has to create a Thanksgiving dinner on the fly, and, of course, he screws it up. As my students would say, it has many good quotes, Linus states, Ive seen you make toast, you cant butter it. Grading student papers is my least favorite thing about Thanksgiving.
