So this has been one of the hardest weeks of my life physically, mentally, and emotionally. I knew the surgery would be intense but hadnt really thought about all the little things, I take for granted, that would be so hard today like brushing my teeth, getting into bed, dressing etc. the physical pain has been hard, real hard, but feeling like your worthless and having your girlfriend put your socks on is just a mental challenge to deal with. Ive cried more times than I want to admit not from pain but the challenges it brings. If it werent for you Andrea Martin being the most amazing nurse, listener, and as always my best friend I wouldnt have gotten through this!!!Youve put all your things aside to take care of me and Im so thankful to have someone as amazing as you. Knowing that youve had to wipe my backside I might not have you for long as I had hoped and dont think I didnt notice your suitcase is now close to your closet. Thank you KK for coming over and helping Anz your amazing for 8 years old(9 on Sunday). Thank you Madison Routson for being at my surgery the while time. Thank you Cathy Martin for coming to stay with Andrea. Thankyou Miah Hoskins for coming to hang out with me Tuesday and check on me. Thank you Russ Mathis for calling and getting me out of my funk and coming over Saturday night. Thank you Erin Routson for bringing the girls and medical supplies Monday. Thank you to everyone who has sent prayers, well wishes and positive messages. Im truly blessed to have so many amazing people in my life. I had my follow up appointment today and the doctor said Im healing well but that I need to settle down and take it easy. He also said, as well as Andrea and my mom Susan Niswonger Wolf, that if I clean the house again in the next two weeks that Im in serious trouble and its not him Im worried about but really scared what Anz and Mom might do. My X-ray pics look weird with all the metal. Thank you again for everyone that has reached out!!!!
