So this is for my geek friends...I recently had to fully commit to Windows 8, as my key for 7 has expired, but I really wanted all the gadgets I used to have that provided me with all the info of the goings on inside my computer (cant get .net framework 3 anymore). So this is my solution: I got a little 7 inch screen and controller board, mounted it in a picture frame, and ran it with an HDMI off my my Intel onboard graphics. I used AIDA64 and made this sensor panel. Im pretty proud of it right now! And as an added bonus I can drag webpages and Pandora and such over onto it when I want to!
