So, this is not normal but I have to post. Today, while on vacation, we decided that there were some extra essential items needed from a local store. While getting lost and driving on numerous wrong roads, which really shouldnt have been very difficult being that it is a small town. We pulled in and as we get out to gather our stuff there was an eldery gentleman somewhat complaining about how people are inconsiderate with returning there carts after transporting there goods. I ask the gentleman, sir ill take that cart if your finished with it EG: its yours if you need it Me: Are you sure your done. EG: I am returning it because an inconsiderate one couldnt walk it back to its place after some small talk and being told he is a wood carver and then asking us very politely if we were religious. He said never mind, I have something I would lile to give you, out comes two very beautifully hand carved/machined crosses. Meanwhile, standing in 90º heat in the parking lot having a wonderful converstion with this fellow, he says, Id like to give these extra pieces to your kids. Still, with my mouth wide open and really believing today is super special, he says do you listen to blue grass music, now I am flabbergasted because I am not sure what is next. Returning back to his car and lifting his back seat up again, he genriously hands us two of his CDs that he recorded some time ago. As we contiune to express our gratitude and continually inform him that he has a very nice generous, he opens his wallet and pulls out $1 bill fo Anna and says buy yourself some candy. I probably will never see this gentleman again but I have to say it was one of the mosf humble and thankful days weve had. Thank you Junior Hattabaugh, you are a special man.
