So this morning I was on a mission. I called around and talked to a few people. I was informed that the torando sirens over on Pensacola are NOT active and that torando sirens have been addressed 3 or 4 times at least and the county commissioners turned it down because they didnt see why tax payers wanted to pay higher taxes for a little while to put this siren system in. When I asked if save millions of lives due to this system didnt mean anything to them they said that they were looking at the tax papers having an issue paying for a system to warn us about tornadoes. REALLY !?!?! So I was told that in order to even get the commissioner to look at the possibility again I had to get everyone in the county involved. So Im starting here. Do you think that having a warning system like sirens in case of a torando is something you would be willing to back? Just think, may 20th 2013 in Oklahoma because of this system they were able to save so many lives, I also found out that Alabama has active sirens, so why not Florida, maybe its just f-0 to f-2 tornadoes here but still this is a life saving system and its a peace of mind knowing its there. Thank you for taking time to read this,
