So, this needs to be said: I didnt pick a fight with anyone. I have friends who were involved in that conversation, one of them a friend Chris Harris threatened to shoot. Some of those people sent me a few screenshots. The post I threw together in 20-minutes was *requested* so others could see what Chris had said. I didnt make Chris Harris say any of those things. I didnt make him threaten to shoot someone. I didnt make him share racist pictures with racist connotations on a thread where other people were engaging in racism gleefully. I didnt make him put up posts on his Facebook page about mowing people down and calling the First Lady a gorilla (how very mature). Chris Harris chose to do all of those things. I had nothing to do with any of it. Ive already stated I dont think he should resign. Ive already stated that I believe he needs education and not ostracization. So, I have no idea what battle Im picking or fighting. The battle of, Hey! Maybe shaming this guy into quitting his job wont do anything to properly educate him on why his views are wrong. Lets take this opportunity to work on that? Yes, the same people so angry with me dont realize Im probably the only one on this side of the table trying to convince others that he doesnt need to resign or be forced out; he needs to be helped. P.S. Stop with all of the god shit, too. If you people are Christians, I consider myself lucky not being one.
