So this number tried calling me four times yesterday. When I tried calling it back an automated machine said that the number I was trying to reach was out of service, invalid, or no longer in use. So I assumed it wasnt important. My assumption was right, because today I answered the number and this guy name David called and I only gave him a minute and 45 seconds of my time. Heres why: David: Hello, is Emma Ricupero there? ( He pronounced my first name eeeema and my last name some complicated way a lot of people try to say it.)(I never thought Emma was that hard to pronounce but I guess maybe he never heard it before?) Me: This is Emma Ricupero (correcting him.) David proceeds to ask me how I am I say good he says fine. David: So since your a windows user I am calling you. Me: Im not a windows user though, I use Mac. David: Oh, Mac! Are you at work right now or busy? Me: I am working..on my artwork David: Oh how nice, so since youre a windows user Id like to ask your age. Me: Im not a windows user so why do you need to know my age? David (laughing): I would like to ask your age. Me: I dont need to give you my age since Im not a windows user. David: So your age please Emma Hangs up phone. I could understand if I did use Microsoft Windows that maybe this conversation would be going somewhere, but if I clearly state Im not, asking for my age isnt really going to help this situation be less awkward. #howdidthisdudeevengetmynumber #maybeishouldhaverepliedareyousingleormarried
