So this weekend there are 2 Christmas Shows at Longwood. Saturday is the Indoor X Country and Sunday is the Unaffiliated Christmas Fun Show. It will be a Historical event one way or another as it will be the final Christmas Shows at Longwood EC in Dry Street. I hope many of you will come along and join in the fun, and of course, to swop stories of all the good times everyone has had there over the past 40 odd years! We will be holding a raffle in aid of Jacks Journey. Jack is a little boy who was born with no immune system and has spent most of his life so far, in Great Ormond Street Hospital being treated by the marvellous staff there. We would really appreciate any Raffle donations that people may have. It is a bit sad that this will be the final Christmas weekend at Longwood but we are determined to make it a memorable occasion one way or another! Please come along and meet up with your friends etc, even if you are not intending to compete, it would be so lovely to see so many friends old and new to make the weekend a memorable one. However, please remember, Longwood Shows will continue into the New Year so check out the website for dates.
