just finished watching thai romance movie.a very deep movie evolve around a lady who travel back to the past and met her love. what touch me the most is the part when she from the future having conversation with he from the past. he : are siam going to be colonized by england or france she: we never been colonized but siam have change from siam to thailand we prefer to wear what western wear, we eat what western eat,we copy most what western do he: if that is not not colonised then what hmmm deep conversation with endless meaning, the other part that make my mind racing is when he show to her behind a certain building wall lay the greatest weapon that have no rivalry.and she urge him to show her the weapon, he brought her to the place. he: look around u, the king have fill this wall with the latest weapon that my future descendant will never be insufficient of weapon. hurm its a library fill with book, the indestructible weapon that organically been hands down from 1 generation to the younger generation. n she reply : the current siam people only read six line per year. hahaha the subsequent scene a hilarious , from one personnel to the minister to the servant said : what 6 line per yer , are dey deaf, are dey stupid, are dey slow learner? question is are we the current generation with all the sophisticated tech read less than the so called uncivilised era. 2 thing hit me : 1)how we sustain our culture , our origin, our heritage ...we arent the people with no past, no background and no glory.we have our cloth,we have our own entertainment, we have our architecture, we have our own food... how far do we go to put effort in sustaining all the great beauty of a heritage. 2) knowledge...read read n read... y izit so hard to read. the reading habit is far beyond rare in malaysia.take a ride on a bus, we can hardly see 1 person read...yeah reading text message n fb notification is abundant to be seen.observe the situation at the waiting hall of an airport, in 10 western ppl 7 of them have book on their hand, from bibliography, to fiction, to philosophy, to romance, to motivational and the list continue. its a sarcastic scene of " in average only 6 sentence were red by the thai ppl in the future"... to change the elder might come close to impossible but the younger generation our youth is easier to be mould.lets together instil the love to read among our young generation...thats what my uncle advise me...i ask him" uncle karem im very suprise y izit phuket is very clean n i can hardly see any smoker around?" " sofia, to change an old man is very difficult, educate the children and they will educate their child, it might take long time but the future is brighter" fuuhh the hero hairstyle is cantekkk!!!
