So today, Melissa and I jumped onto 3 separate trains for 6 hours and headed into Zermatt, Switzerland. We are at the part of our journey where we change climates and scenery and start to wear warm clothes. The train ride was very fun and the scenery was just too beautiful for the pictures to do justice. As we crossed the border of Italy into Switzerland (well prob for the last 60 miles of northern Italy) we were just in awe. The green fields and trees and mountains were amazing. We got into Zermatt and just love this city. Cars are not allowed here so everyone drives little dinky carts. It is funny to watch. We ate some dinner and walked around the city. We have a clear view of the Matterhorn but as the locals put it he likes to hide. So, we will be on the look out and try to snap a picture of him if he peaks (pun intended). Tomorrow we have no plans except enjoying the beautiful nature and forecasted lightning and thunder storms.
