So today, as you all my know, I was hospitalized for half of the day. Turns out I have 2 kidney stones, but Im trusting God for my healing. As excruciatingly painful as it was (Literally the worst pain Ive EVER experienced), the worst pain was when the EMTs picked me up (And I happened to be on the west side of Chicago), and they treated me like I was a criminal (more than likely because of the side of town that I was on). You would have thought they were the police and arresting me for doing something wrong. They swore at me, and was rude to me, and completely disrespected me in front of my family! I couldnt defend myself at the time because I couldnt speak due to the pain, but I guess I was surprised to see that Racism still lives. Needless to say I WONT ever go to WEST SUBURBAN HOSPITAL again! Im not angry, but I am shocked I guess to finally experience racism first hand....I thought this was 2014, but maybe I was wrong.....
