So, today is Wednesday January 21st ... and today is the first day in a little while Paytan has woken up ... not sick to her stomach!! YEAH!!! And she was hungry!! Double yeah!! Drs had changed the tummy medicine for Paytan the other day, to try a different medication for indigestion ... or to be proactive and try to help prevent the possibility of indigestion... the idea is that the medication would do two jobs, ease indigestion/heartburn that the chemo could cause ... and also aid in the nausea.... **Note here ... this medication can in rare cases cause more nausea and loose stool. . . . . well, guess what . . . .LOL ... we are back on the original medication for her tummy. And today she is feeling WAY BETTER!! This morning Paytan was working with Hasmig practicing cutting to work on building up hand strength. Then this afternoon ... we had physio . . . .and GUESS WHO STOOD UP!!!! Yes!! Paytan stood up, legs extended!!! She even tried to take a step... silly girl!! She was soooo happy!! Still SMILING BIG!!! Her hamstrings are still very tight, and will need continued stretching... but she stood up!! And laying down, with her orthotics/braces on (holding her feet in place) she was able to stretch her legs out flat one the bed!! Oh what a super day!!!
