So today is my parents 26th wedding anniversary and I decide to treat them with a grand dinner. I take them to this hep place That Madras Place. And what should happen? A plesant fun filled dinner right? No. This is what happened. The waiter gracefully placed the menu cards for each of us on the table. Amma : Do you have seperate preparation counters for Veg and Non-veg? Waiter: No mam. We prepare them together. Before anyone could realise anything, my mom hastily squeezed herself out of her seat and ran to the door. Appa gave an uneasy grin and followed her. All eyes were on me. I avoided eye contact and followed them as if nothing happened. All of us came home, sat on the floor and consumed rasam and curd rice that was made in the morning.
