So today was a hard day. Emotionally it was difficult to watch my little family all leave today to work and school. I was a mess. I was tired of sleeping then moving on to sitting and then back to lying down. It is humbling to watch all of your dearest family and friends, who are also considered my family, sweep in and take over my everyday duties. Its hard to watch my husband work his tail off every second ensuring we all have what we need and that Im not in any pain. So this morning, I reached to faith and I prayed. An hour later, all of my family and friends began calling and texting to check in on me and to lift me up. My aunt even brought me a sonic tea!! And my parents do what they do best, they pumped me up with a plan of action to stay positive, kick the pain, and get moving. They stopped by tonight and got me laughing. My Grandpa Alford always said to lean on faith, family, friends, and fun. Today I got to experience all of that and even a glimpse of him in my mom with something he always would do to his grand kids. When I say I am blessed, I truly am. I am in awe of those that have much larger hills to climb than mine.
