So today was the day we received Leos statement through the post. I cant even begin to put in to words how proud of him I am. It was a huge realisation on how much his autism affects every aspect of his life and when its in black and white the harsh reality of it is that he struggles with the littlest things that ppl take for granted and always will. Whats even more frustrating is when ppl say ah hes not that bad. His disability isnt visible. If he was in a wheel chair ppl would look at him in a totally different light!! I cant help but wonder why him? He just doesnt deserve any of it and he must get so frustrated inside but has no way of explaining why!! I love him more than the world. To me hes perfect in every single tiny little way and always will be but sometimes you have to step back and acknowledge that noone is perfect. I will forever be in Leos teachers, miss swan and miss Cowells debt for the support, care and help they have given us as a family and helped us get his statement which gives us positivity that he will have help and guidance in times at school that I cant be there!! #InvisibleDisability
