So today we started treatment on Shadow for Systemic lupus erythematosus! We first thought just discoid lupus erythematosus with the few symptoms he had. However all the symptoms compiled point to it. The main test to make 100% sure is to remove the lupus spot out of his nose which I refuse to do. Its painful and he has been through enough. He has gained 2 lbs and Im so relieved (for now) to know. Apparently it just hit him hard and at once. So what was suspected as several things at one time is actually 1 thing. (For now) we started treatment today and are hopeful we will see Change in a week. If no change then we will regroup do ultrasound etc. While he was on prednisone he was doing better but it isnt the proper steroid for his illness. I feel confident in this!!!!! After reading hour upon hours and making myself sick we now can start moving forward with my babies health :-) thank you all for the prayers! Thank you Corbet Deary for talking to your wonderful wife and Dr Sandy spending time out of her busy day to consult a complete stranger ♡ I know I messaged you results earlier but be sure and tell her for me and Ill keep you posted for sure !
