So todays camper story goes a little like this. All camps are at Aquaboggan so with staff we are over 300. Everyone is eating lunch picnic style when a young man who I met yesterday at Pepperell Camp comes up to me and asks if I remember him. Of course I said! He began to ask questions about lots of different subjects under the sun. When I thought he was finished he went on to say he was going to his house on the lake this weekend. I told him that sounded like fun. He said that he liked to fish there. Then there was a pause....... he looked at me and said We should do a fieldtrip to my lake house. Remember there are over 300 of us. So I told him that sounded really fun and he reminded me we should all bring our fishing poles. There it was! He left the door wide open. I said to him if we all went to your lake house and brought our fishing poles we would probably catch every fish in his lake. Yep I had him! I got the stare. The wheels were turning. His thinking cap was going 100 MPH and then the words of wisdom came.........Thats ok it would be fun. Yes it would. Life is so simple and things are so easy when you really think about it. So if you have a child who attends Pepperell Camp and you have a Lake house we will be calling to arrange for a 300 plus person field trip soon. Not to worry we bring our own fishing poles!
