So true. Its gotten to a point where you cant even call someone to say Whats up? without them thinking somethings wrong or you have some big announcement. I remember a day when you could just show up at a friends house to see if they were free. Facebook/Social Media has a legitimate purpose. Living in Cambodia it is a great way to stay in contact with friends back home, and I enjoy knowing whats new in peoples lives, but think about this for a second. How many of your Facebook friends would you call up to have a drink? Invite over to your place to watch a football game? Call when you had a problem? How often are you unnecessarily on your phone when you are actually with real people? This is definitely something I need to work on.
