So true! We have really tried to start making our kids earn their money it was getting bad like every stop we made they thought they had to get a treat no matter what, or if the broke something its ok mommy we will just buy a new one mentality! (The behavior had to stop) Madison has been doing daily chores washing dishes, cleaning her room, feeding the cat, etc for two weeks bc she is trying to earn enough to go to build a bear. She feels great about herself that she is earning the money and her chores are the first thing she does when we walk in the door. Its also teaching her to value the money you earn not just blow it on whatever bc working is hard. Now if we can get the other child on the same page..... This has a great message!
