So, true story: A friend of mine got laid off about 6-7 years ago, this from a job he held for 20+ years. While all his co-workers went off and found different jobs with different companies, he stuck around and became the bosss right hand man, working in a different capacity. Today he is earning the same meager pay and complains everyday that he is getting poorer and poorer. Of course you are getting poorer and poorer, you earn the same amount you did 7 years ago and the currency gets weaker and weaker everyday. The worst part of it is that apart from this J.O.B, the only other thing this person does is sits on his couch and watch tv, his solution for his dilemma is either to win the lotto or run away from his responsibilities; the weirdest thing is he knows the problem with every idea anyone else come up with for making money. Recently I found out he sleeps with a horse shoe in his pillow case for good luck. Do you believe this guy? No wonder he is Just Over Broke (JOB).
