So twice this month Ive been called a hippie. Well, actually, once an old hippie and the second, just a hippie. I find I take offense to this, and I am not sure why. I think I associate hippies with laziness to a certain extent. Or maybe its generational and I think I am too young to technically be a hippie, Im not sure. Yes, I lean left. Yes, I have a live and let live philosophy for life. Yes, I choose to only wear makeup when necessary. Yes, I try not to stress over things I cannot change. No, I do not think that material possessions define me. But does this make me a hippie? Thoughts.
