So um. I guess were, like, posting pictures of us and talking about ourselves, or some such. Im not known for tossing myself out there, but what the hell. My names Lloyd, Im coming up on 26 years old, and I have no life. Srsly. Im bad at, erm, Real Life. Complicated rotations, everything is super grindy, requires a huge time investment, and progression is difficult as BALLS. Well anyway. Theres nothing, whatsoever, of note going on in my real life, so thats enough about that. I started playing WoW around the very tail-end of Vanilla. Spent most of my time dicking around. Had no idea what to do, even with people showing me. My first character was a melee hunter. Srsly. I was like Dude, Ravager is OP, and the Scarlet set has BONUSES, and Raptor Strike + Mongoose Bite seems like a super legit rotation even though all of my friends were like NO WHAT ARE YOU DOING YOU CANT. So anyway. When BC launched, my highest character (dat melee hunter) was like level 40-ish, and I had like four twinks. Bad twinks, granted, since I had like no gold, but whatever. I switched to Ret Paladin shortly after BC launched, and spent all of BC still dicking around and raiding Karazhan casually for months on end. Didnt really see any of the other content. We did join up with another guild for Mags and Gruuls, but all I had was a casual 10-man team, so anything higher than T4 content was pretty much... off the table. Not to mention I was playing what was considered one of the worst DPS specs (from what I recall, people only took 1 ret paladin in serious endgame progression, and that was ONLY for Improved Blessing of Might) so all the best guilds had their ONE ret paladin slot filled already and I was going nowhere. Then in Wrath I got super srs and did ALL the research and watched videos of ALL the fights and learned my proper rotation and got addons for the first time and was like IM GONNA RAID AND DO GOOD DAMMIT. My ten-man from BC finally dissolved, and what was left of us joined the guild we had already been running with, so we started doing Naxx 25s. Kept raiding for the whole expansion, but it was still a very casual 25, so I didnt clear ALL of the content. Didnt see KT when it was current, didnt see Yogg (I think we only got... 2 out of the 4 keepers, in fact, we were THAT far behind) and then... we wiped on Putricide for the entirety of ICC. Cleared first wing, like, cake, and then... Fester and Rot, but Putricide, was nope.jpg. We did full clear ToC though, that was nice. Even did 2 of them on heroic. Also helped that Ret Paladin was super OP for like, the entire expansion because just about everything was undead, and we were getting all kinds of damage bonuses and guaranteed crits. Then, in Cata, I swapped my main to rogue, because Holy Power really pissed me off, and plus, Ret Paladin wasnt super OP anymore. (Before you ask, I didnt switch to Rogue JUST because of the legendary daggers. Swapped at the beginning, before those had even been announced.) My rogue had been my most played alt ever since BC, it was the second character I got to max, and I really enjoyed it, but... in BC I was the Imp Blessing of Might guy and in Wrath I was OMFG TOP THE METERS BY DESTROYING UNDEAD guy so I never found room to squeeze my rogue into raids. But I really enjoyed playing it, even though all I really did was farm leather for two expansions. And lots of PvP. Sub Hemo in BC and Mut Prep in Wrath. So I swapped to my rogue, and then quit two months into the expansion. Didnt come back until DS was already out. Found a raid team that was already 8/8, with no rogue, so I was getting guaranteed legendary drops, and then I got burnt out and quit again. Didnt finish the daggers. Still have second stage in my bank. And then, came back for MoP, have quit off and on during the expansion, but came back and have been playing pretty steadily during SoO. Although, Ive become a super super filthy casual, and all I do now is LFRs and steamrolling old raids for mounts, pets, mog gear, and lolfaceroll style funtimes. I leveled the ret paladin, been playing that, and only just recently leveled a hunter, and thats super fun, been having a lot of fun with that. Also, I race change and server transfer, like, a LOT. Its a super bad habit. Especially considering the fact that Im always SUPER broke.
