So update on my dad.....after a visit to mayo today we have learned he has stage 4 cancer. Good news- at this time there will be no liquid chemo, but instead he will start on a pill. There will still be side effects, but it wont be as bad as liquid chemo. Mom and dad are very excited that they wont have to be down here for long periods of time. The hope is to manage the cancer so it does not grow. The pill should/hope/will shrink the cancer 30-40%. Please keep my family in your prayers.
