So very true , some.will.never understand the concept . But they never earned the Eagle , Globe and Anchor of becoming one of the Few, The Proud ..The Marines. Never understanding the Code or Commitment of self to something greater than self. Whether its to some or the many, as well always where freedom loving people are willing to take a stand for what is right or to correct a wrong. Marines do not just sign on for 4 or 6 years instead its a lifetime. Where principles mean more than gold or treasures. But a way of life . Yesterday when an idiot pointed a rifle at me ,he learned quick just how an unarmed Marine could show him the business end of the tool he thought he had, and how hard the butt of his rifle could knock his ass to the ground. Odd how things happen and odder yet how a supposedly old man of 63 could show a 27 year old Marine skills never go away they just always stay below the surface until needed. Semper Fi....
