So we are happy to let everyone know that we have finalised our calendar and events for our Winter re launch week (about time we know). With our new outdoor enclosed alfresco area set to be installed Wednesday 18th of June we will gladly be returning back to our original trading nights/hours and kicking winter right up the ass. However not just re opening, we will be Re launching!, all new exciting events, menus, cocktails, wine, beers, night & day entertainment on a regular basis and much more. Over the years with everyones help our little cafe has evolved to one of the busiest cafe/bars in the area. However our shop space has not changed, With our limited kitchen space, storage space and floor space we have always tried our best to keep everyone happy, but now outgrowing our space and only getting busier we have made some changes and simplified our menu, trading times and methods to hopefully rid the those nasty 30-40 min waits that Im sure all of you have had to endure a fair few times during our busy days. Also with many fingers crossed the Grind is set for some pretty cool expansions that will solve all our problems but thats another novel away in a few months ;) . So heres just a quick list of whats ahead change wise. Dont stress not a lot has changed just a few things. - menu change and simplify - breakfast only from 7:30-12:00 - lunch only 12:00-3:00 - kitchen closed 3:00-5:00 (all drinks,bar snacks and cafe items still available) - kitchen open for nights 5:00 (thur,fri,sat & selected nights) - table service (nights only) - separate counter for those on the run with takeaway coffee or drinks. Now all that aside lets get to the FUN STUFF!! Our relaunch week Callander of events, and trading nights for the weeks prior to the launch, note: our day trade hasnt changed at all we are still open every day except our only closed day Tuesday, just a few nights have changed till the re launch. Sat, 31st may- open standard night Sat, 7th June- open standard night Wed, 11th June- 8am yoga tree yoga class with Dianne Mcintosh Thur, 12th June- open all New Mexican themed Thursday (awesome stuff ahead) Friday, 13th June- open standard night Relaunch week!!!!!! (Back to normal trading days) Wed,18th June- 8am yoga tree yoga class with Dianne Mcintosh Thur, 19th June- all New Mexican night Friday, 20th- open with live entertainment (artist released soon) Sat, 21st- open with entertainment (artist released soon) Sunday, 22nd- Sunday morning rustic fresh produce S&G market stall 9am. Located outside squeeze & grind. Local fresh produce, honeys, vintage wares, organic infused ice teas, cold drip coffee options, S&Gs new line of jarred jams, relish, sauces, dried veggies and much more. Hopefully this has got you all a tad excited once again a huge thank you to everyone who has supported us at the grind over the years if it wasnt for the many of our loyal customers, supporters and excellent staff none of this would have been possible. So our phones will be open for all bookings and info as of this coming Monday. Dean & team
