So we drove all the way out to Boerne to meet with the head grand pooh bah of Explore USA. We sat and talked for about an hour explaining everything that had gone wrong with a travel trailer which was supposed to be marketed as, The Signature Line. Blown tire upon delivery, warped counter top, mal-aligned cabinets, non functional power converter x 2, microwave free falling from the cabinet...and the list went on (in addition to the service department taking our 50 amp power cord which cost me over $500 in lost travel expenses). Weve had the trailer nine months and have only had it out 1 weekend. The President was not at all happy with the report and profusely apologized for all the hassles we had put up with. He then took us out to the lot to show us all the upgrades made to the Hill Country series since then; solid surface counter tops, theater style leather recliners, memory foam-topped mattress in the bedroom, etc. etc. So, the President will be contacting Crossroads, the company that manufactured the RV, and we will be receiving a brand new trailer to replace the lemon we bought. Additionally, I now have the Presidents cell phone number with the directive that if anything should go wrong in the future, he wants to be the first one called and he will take care of the rest for us. I thought it was a nice gesture on his part. So, now we sit and wait for the President of Explore USA to work out the details with Crossroads. Anybody interested in a slightly used 2015 35 foot Hill Country Travel Trailer?
