So we finally get the lab report and the MD calls in a script so my poor wifey can start to get better. I am basically dressed in shorts and a t-shirt (and not the nice ones either) All I have to do run in and grab the script and leave so I jump into the truck and drive to the Hospital. Park in front sneak in a side dorr and go straight to the pharmacy counter. Tell them her name and ................. WHOAAAAA THERE BIG BOY NOT SO FAST Seems that pills were ordered, pills very $$$$$$$, liquid much cheaper but MD must change order. Phone calls have to be made, MD office is closed for the day, have to find MD. And in the meantime I am standing there like a homeless guy. Of course in walks one of my wifes coworker buddies. Now my embarrassment is at def con 3 Pharmacy gal says I should go sit out in lobby she will come get me when its ready..... So now I look like a homeless guy sitting in the hospital lobby because its nice and air-conditioned and dry . MORE people come by that I know and one of MY good buddies even sits and chats with me for awhile, embarrassment is now at def con 5 6 minutes before it closes I go in to check and WOOHOO order changed Pharmacist fills it and I am finally able to leave and bring the medicine home to my lovely wife!
