So we found out yesterday that Kinley has an enlarged kidney and it is retaining fluid.. This condition is called hydronephrosis or sometimes called pylectasis.. Its only found in 2-3% of pregnancies.. :( Anywho, doctor said it could be corrected on its own before delivery, it could become less of a problem and simply cause more urinary type infections, or may require additional screening and possible surgery.. We are still at the point of gaining more information and researching what this means for Kinley and her future so I just ask that you pray a few extra prayers for our family and keep us in your thoughts.. I trust that the Lord does not give you more than you can handle but Im also realizing he must think Im one tough cookie because the thought of anything being wrong with my baby scares the hell outta me! If anyone has dealt with this or has any information they could share it definitely would be appreciated!
