So we gave this little recipe a shot tonight, however we gave it a bit of a twist of our own, with amazing results! We made our own bread crumbs, using buttered Italian bread baked in the oven with spices and butter, and blended it up in the Ninja. This loaf was found on the oops I baked too much rake at Walmart. We also blended up some texas toast Croutons. We added on some sour cream, and upped the amount of milk used, to give it a more creamy feel. The only thing we really screwed up on, is only after we did everything and layered the crumbs on top, I forgot we had not put any green beans in. Lessons learned on this, is we really wish we had cooked it at a lower temp for a longer time. Also, layering it it with cheese before baking it would have made the flavor way better. Using all these ingredients, this recipe took about 13 dollars to make, and it would feel about 3 people that have a good appetite. As well as everything else, next time we will be adding some freshly cooked bacon crumbs. Bacontastic Adventures tweaked!
