So we have had Danica on a drip for the last two days feeding continuously. She has been doing ok with the feeds her bum on the other hand not so much. The Nutramigen is so hard on her bowel that she has several poopie diapers a day and it has been very hard keeping up with the diaper cream. Her poor right cheek jus looks terrible! Her respirations still continue to be above the 100s and she feels warm several times throughout the day. We have gone up on oxygen because she seems to struggle maintaining her oxygen. She is now at 1 3/4 liters. Spoke with Dr. Ocejo today and we will be changing her diet up again to see if we can help slow her bowels down a bit. Going to just do the continous drip jus through the night and during the day feed her 60mls through her feeding tube over 30 mins to n hour and then give her a break for an hour or so and feed her again and hopefully that will help slow it down! Will also be collecting a sample to make sure there is not a bug in her bowel. Hopefully her respirations will slow down we have her hooked up to humidified air now since she has to use more oxygen. So thanks all for ur continued support and prayers. We will be heading back on August 6 th to Mayo for her first set of follow ups will have lots to discuss with her Doctors.
