So, we made it to day 7 of the seven day Led Zeppelin Official challenge. I was nominated by Jay Ortega and Wolf Gemora last week and I must say that this ride has been A LOT of fun! Heres Misty Mountain Hop. The reason I chose this song is because Bonzo does EXACTLY what a drummer is supposed to do: Make people DANCE! I love drummers that can go off on tangents that are really trippy!!! However, if a drummer cant make a person dance, then all thats happening is nothing but noise. ALL of my favorite drummers KNOW how to make people dance even if/when they go off into the great abyss of losing the 1! One of the reasons why I LOVE Bonham so much is because he can go off into space and still land on a dime without so much as batting an eyelash. Ive nominated Jayman Alviar, Tebs Gomez, Zach Lucero, Kurt Floreska, Bel Sayson, Joey Dizon, and a whole bunch of others to take this challenge as well. Today, Im not nominating anyone... All I ask is that you listen to THIS song, take a second and dance, and when you dance, let ALL inhibitions go! As the saying goes, Dance as if no one is watching!
