So, we started the CGC Advanced class (AKC Community Canine). This class focuses on the dogs being able to maintain focus on the parent when out in the community, regardless of distractions. Today we worked on focus activities, review of basic commands, walking politely through doorways, and even started the dogs on working through a puzzle! Everyone did well, after the initial excitement of seeing other dogs this close wore off. In the class we have Annie (Great Pyrenees), Barney (English Bulldog), Meadow (Black Lab), Sadie (Black Lab), Sawyer (Black Lab), and Sophie (St. Bernard). Its going to be a wonderful class!!
