So we took a drive out to high river tonight. The devastation is tear jerking and heartbreaking. Houses full of appliances, furniture and belongings all on the front lawns, if they have one left. The railroad looks like a roller coaster ride. Most of these families will not be able to start over. Everything is just gone. The town is destroyed. So what do you do when someone is down? You help them get back up. I will be volunteering this weekend and I challenge everyone I know to show up and lend a hand. Bake some cookies, help a senior gut his house, whatever you want to do. I know if it was my family I would cherish any help I could get. Stay strong citizens of high river, we will help.
