So we went to the market together, and I watched her negotiate - TopicsExpress

So we went to the market together, and I watched her negotiate price crayfish fervently with the lady who sold it. And while I enjoyed her negotiation skills (pricing style), it crossed my mind that the reason why she could try to bit the price down was because there was no stipulated price- no price tag. Then it occurred to me that the difference between a market and a supermarket is that there are no price tags on the goods in the market- so one can afford to negotiate their prices, but you dont negotiate in the supermarket because there is a price tag (stipulated price). So it looks normal to negotiate in the market but ridiculous to try it in the supermarket, you simply leave the goods once you feel you are not ok with the price. And technically you would observe that negotiation is indeed telling the good its not worth the price. Point: The reason why people might look down on you and tell you, you are not worth their time, their friendship... Is because you are yet to put your price tag on. Put your price tag on and be valued as such. Good morning Sorgwe Ernest (D man in charge)
